SAGWA Book Graduation Recitals

SAGWA’s first ever instrument-wide book graduation recital is set for Sunday, April 28th at 3:00pm at the Lyceum at 201 S. Washington St, Alexandria VA 22314. Audience members are welcome - please bring your student and be a part of our first-ever Association book graduation!

Graduates this year include students playing guitar, violin and piano. We hope to make these Graduations a yearly event, and expand the number of graduates significantly, representing all instruments and all book graduates who can participate. This year's program was put together quickly so as not to miss another year, and the message may not have reached all teachers with enough time to act on it. Next year's concert(s) will be at the Arlington Women's Club on Sunday March 23, 2014. Save the date!

SAGWA members who have graduated a Suzuki book are put forward for Graduation by their teacher. Each student has the chance to play a solo, and/or in a group, and each student receives a personalized medal with the SAGWA logo, their instrument, name and the book(s) graduated on the medal face.

Parking: very limited parking in the Lyceum parking lot. Parking is available on the street. Please observe signs when parking.
Admission: free
Start time: 3:00pm.
