Applicant must study with teacher within the geographical boundary listed below to receive a scholarship. (The boundaries are Fredericksburg, VA/Culpepper, VA/Front Royal, VA/Winchester, VA to Martinsburg, WV/Frederick, MD/Columbia, MD to Bowie, MD/St. Charles, MD/Fredericksburg, VA.)

This scholarship is based on financial need. The above information will be reviewed only by the scholarship committee and is confidential. The information will not be released to the teacher.
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Fill out the above information completely for each student applicant.
    • LATE OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!
  2. On the Event registration form, mark that you are requesting financial aid.
  3. Return each student applicant's original event registration form with the $30 per student deposit to the address listed on the Event Registration Form.
  4. Make check or money order payable to SAGWA or applicable institute: SAGWA Flute Institute (SAGWAFI), Greater Washington Suzuki Piano Institute (GWSPI) or Greater Washington String Institute (GWSI) to hold the applicant's spot at the event. Please send the $30 check and the event registration to the address listed on the brochure.
  5. Finally, send the completed Event Scholarship Application, a copy of the completed event registration form, along with a copy of the $30 per student check to:
